The problem with some sites having blank page is that you probably have a beta version of internet explorer 9. If you experience compatibility issues on websites it suggest that Internet Explorer 9 Beta has not been updated. Basically the website has to meet IE (Internet Explorer) 9 beta standards.

To solves this try the following steps below:

Step 1: Try to run internet explorer in compatibility view and check, follow the steps mentioned in the article below

Some Web sites may not be displayed correctly or work correctly in Internet Explorer 8 or in Internet Explorer 9 Beta

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/956197

If the issue persists,

Step 2: Reset Internet Explorer Settings and check

To use the Reset Internet Explorer Settings feature from Control Panel, follow these steps:
Exit all programs, including Internet Explorer (if it is running).

a) Click Start, type the following command in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER:
inetcpl.cpl

b) The Internet Options dialog box appears.

c) Click the Advanced tab, Under Reset Internet Explorer settings, click Reset.

d) Then click Reset again. When Internet Explorer finishes resetting the settings, click Close in the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box. Start Internet Explorer again.

Note: That running RIES (Reset Internet Explorer Settings) will reset all user-defined settings including those set by installed extensions, toolbars and other add-ons to IE Defaults. This includes all Security, Privacy and Zone settings. Also this will clear browsing history, delete all temporary Internet Files, cookies, form data and especially all stored passwords.

If the above steps does not resolve the problems you should update your internet explorer to 10 or 11 as mentioned before older Internet Explorer version have higher probability of compatibility problems and you should do that for your other browser, Firefox.

If this does not work then it must be your internet provider ends that causing the problems you will have to contact them about this.

Hope this helps. : )
