Just what would you tweet about? As for myself, I love to go treasure hunting in thrift/junk shops, and I do use the Yellow Pages. I throw away the knock off phone books, you know, the ones that are not put out by the phone company, so be sure that you go with the REAL Yellow Pages. I've spent a lot of time looking up stuff in the phone book, and having a large, well-laid ad can help me decide whether to go to a shop or not. I especially appreciate maps and directions. I am particularly interested in learning if a shop specializes in something. Having a website could be an option, too. Again, post directions. If you have something that's hard to find, put it on the website.
For the record, I never follow Twitter, except for a few tweets on the various websites that I visit anyway. I mean, most tweets aren't really anything interesting, just a few comments on what someone is doing RIGHT NOW, and mostly I don't care what someone is doing unless it's important. Ads |
