Considering that it's her Wi-Fi connection, it doesn't really matter if you turn off your GPS location and clear your data. You should be concerned about her monitoring the Internet connection, whether it's by checking the logs on the router settings, using a pack analyzing program (e.g - Wireshark), or just receives logs from the ISP every month...
But, since you're saying she's not good with computers at all, you should find out if your ISP sends her logs every month through the bill (some do that). If it does, use the Tor browser to prevent the ISP from seeing what you look up, and make sure your connections are encrypted. Accessing a router's logs isn't the hardest thing to do, either. If your router logs the websites you visit, or what you look up, then I can say that you're pretty screwed.. To get away with everything.. If she gets logs from the ISP, use Tor browser and encrypted connections If she has access to the router logs, try deleting the logs before that. Although I wouldn't recommend deleting ALL the data in the logs, but only the "embarrassing stuff". (find out if your router logs info in the first place). If she uses a packet analyzer, which I highly doubt she does, well, eh... Pray that she won't get suspicious... Good luck. :-) Ads |
