Mckenna was brought in as police officer for Paul during the GCAC hostage situation, he's not Adam although he does look a bit like MM.

An Adam recast is still in the works, meaning they are still searching for another actor to play the role, hence why when we see Adam it's only a hand or arm, its a day player doing the role for now.
