What would I need to create a website?

First you need hosting and domain. You can get cheap and reliable hosting at 1$/ month including free domain name from here http://dexteroid.com/internet/get-cheap-...osting-12/

Second you need to install free CMS that is wordpress. You will able to install it from cPanel once you buy hosting.

Third you need to buy a theme from themeforest.net or download free theme. If you are opening a store buy a theme made for online store for wordpress.

Fourth you need to update your content inthe site.

Fifth you need SEO you site and rank it to the top. Either you can hire someone to rank your site which will cost you a lot or you can ask me for help.
