Try to reach out to other bloggers with similar values and see if you can guest blog. Not everyone will accept guest bloggers, but it is always worth asking. Maybe make it possible for them to be guest writers on your site too. If you end up with a decent list, you might end up with more links to your site, which will help in search results and rankings.

Definitely, submit your site to search engines and to reputable directories.

Defnitely, be social on whatever platforms you prefer and concentrate on the ones you like. It is better to be on one to two and do a really great job, than on five social platforms that you rarely visit.

Make sure your site has keywords embedded that people are using to find sites such as your's.

You can do a PR blast to drive traffic (this can be expensive).

Create an e-mail campaign to stay in touch with your audience and to continue to build a following.

You can place an advertisement on a site you like with similar values or create a Pay Per Click campaign.

It takes time and constant effort to build traffic to your site.
