Disguising your device is not going to help. It is the device that has been blocked from the router, not just the name of the device. To do this, your parents have used administrator settings to keep your device from obtaining an IP address registered to your house's router. Or perhaps they contacted your ISP and had them block your iPad (if your parents are not savvy, this is probably what they did).

The only way to overcome this signal block is to hack the Wifi, which I do not recommend.

Perhaps your parents are doing this because you are getting hooked on the use of the internet and you are still in school? If so, try to learn a lesson from this and try to negotiate with them if you believe you have a case. Good luck.
