How do i get more storage on my ipod 4gen?

Apple devices do not allow you to add memory. If you have already deleted things it may just be hanging on to the residue memory. They do that.

Go to your settings app then to iTunes and log out of your apple account. Turn your device off then on again and log into your iTunes account again that will release the residue being held and give you as much storage as is really left.

Apple told me that when I was having similar issues on my iPad and it worked.
