I won't try to list good sellers, there are many things that sell well, but it depends upon what you have or can get for a low enough price. I will tell you how to find out whether something sells well on eBay so you don't waste time and money trying to sell the wrong thing.
Type in something in the eBay search box that brings up a specific type of item. Scroll down the page and check the "Completed Listings" box in the left hand column. Now go back to the top of the page and set "Sort" to "highest first". You are now seeing a list of items that have sold in the last few weeks. Those with red prices did not sell, but these with green did. The highest green price you see is about the most you can expect to make. If there are no or few green prices this is probably an item type that does not sell well on eBay. Some searches will show almost every price in green, showing clearly showing it's a very hot item. Generally, I find home construction and utilitarian items like refrigerator parts pretty slow sellers. I suspect ring sales have a huge amount of competition. Collectible items tend to do well, but you pretty much have to do the above search to have a good idea about any item or category. |
