I like/love lonliness and sadness and do not want anybody to company me. How will I get rid of this situation?

I always hide in my room, right when I get home, I never leave that room unless I have to go get something. I am quiet and keep to myself too. Although now I am trying to be involved in more sports and school activites (that way I can make new friends too that I actually like to hang out with). Also I have lots of friends from all over the U.S. that I talk too on skype, that way I can be alone, but I can still IM/skype/video call them. Social media is also another big thing, you can get in touch with past friends on there and can find out about different things to do. There are many options out there and these were the ones I took to help get me out there somewhat.
