Temporary internet files?

Every webpage or image you view on your browser is downloaded and added to a temporary files folder. They are there so when those webpages or images are seen again (if you went back to the webpage) the page or image would load off your computer rather than downloading it again.

They are there so that your webpages load faster.

You can make your browser not save temporary files in the browser settings. Your browser may call it temporary files or cache, set it to 0 or to not save.
