She cheated, and she probably recanted because she decided she didn't want to stop. Let her know that if she's messing around, that is on her -- there are a million ways to deal with marital problems. Some are smart enough to solve those problems and some are stupid enough to make everything worse. You can't make her decisions for her, but let her know that if she wants to stay married, she needs to act like it -- that includes presenting herself as a married woman.
