Why is everyone so judgemental?
It seems like no one can ever just accept people for who they are. If someone suffers from depression, or anxiety, or is just simply shy, people will find any excuse to abandon them and reject their friendship. As soon as people see that you have any kind of issue, no matter how small it is, they won't even give you a chance. It wasn't always that way. People use to be able to accept people for being a certain way. Most of the time it seems like people are more likely to accept and tolerate the abusive, selfish jackass than the shy, tender person who has a difficulty trusting anyone because they've been abandoned all their life.
We all judge each other for the dumbest reasons. I don't know if social media is to blame, since making friends online has become so much easier, that for our friends in real life we hold out for only perfection. It's really sad. I have a vision that a lot of people are going to end up alone than ever before because of the high standards people have. What's the difference? Ads |
