Because no one wants to deal with that.

Life is full of drama. I'd rather deal with an asshole that has his shit together (or can at least fake it) than some wimpy little whiner who needs me to hold them together. I've got my own problems and I don't have the time, energy, or interest to fix someone else's. Less drama = less stress
