Help choosing an internet provider?
I'm about to move out on my own for my last two years of college. I plan to rent an apartment and one thing I am concerned about is choosing an internet provider. I'm an avid gamer and video watcher, so one of my main concerns is consistency as well as speed. Which provider could provide the most reliable connection while giving rather constant speed for online gaming such as WoW and matches of Call of Duty? Also, I want to be able to download large files without having to wait overnight. I found a 25mbps plan for a decent price through xfinity, should that be enough? I also saw a plan from them for 105mbps which seems like overkill.

Also, one thing im curious about is a T1 wire. While expensive, I'm curious of its actual capabilities. 1.5mbps dedicated to one spot, is this correct? What can actually be done on this speed of the connection? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Budget would have to be less than $100 per month since im not interested in paying for television so long as i have fast and reliable internet.
