Internet download speed problem?

I would like to help but I would have to guess. The reason is nobody has MPBS. You have it wrong. It's MBps or Mbps. But you have cable internet so what you probably have is Mbps so lets take 35 as what you are paying for.So your top download speed is going to be 4.3 MBps or 4300 KB/sec.This is top and nobody gets top.Often you downloading of a file is determined by the place you are downloading from so trying from a few different places is a must.It can vary greatly.Ping is the time it takes for a signal to go from your computer to another and back.A difference of 25 isn't much and would not affect your download speed. If after trying different servers locations at different times so you can rule out heavy internet traffic and servers then you might want to contact charter. There isn't much you can do but switch out your modem. My guess is that's not going to help much but could if yours is going out.
