It is free of charge. i have a family plan with my mom and grandad. and we have verizon and we don't use the web either. and i have unlimited texting too. but ot is totally free of charge. the site says standard message rates apply. It means whatever your phone company charges you for text messages will apply even when using twitter. So in your case it doesn't matter cause you have unlimited text messages.That message is mainly for people who have limits, such as 500per month.so you relly dont have to worry.
