Search Engines Not Working?

So I came home and started my computer. I clicked on Mozilla Firefox and the screen was completely white except the top part with the address bar. I thought maybe Firefox is down so I tried Google Chrome and then Internet Explorer. They both have the exact same issue as I described with FireFox, except Chrome and IE say the page can't be displayed. Now here's the thing. Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem and my AVG AntiVirus program couldn't detect a single threat from a whole system scan. I have no idea what the problem is if anyone knows please help.
