No you won't go to jail Smile all apple products have warranty I think but doing this will void your apple warranty so if it messes up then apple can't help and you can't turn off jailbreak unless you reset it and that looses all your apps and what not I don't reccomend it at all cause it slows down your iphone/ipod/ipadbut here is a link if you want to but if something goes wrong I warned you
