I only have one connection in my whole house that is wired to the internet.
There a some but not many homes that have fully wired internet service. The router lights indicate that you have no connection from the ISP to the ethernet cable or port on the router. If you moved to a different room, you are not using the same hookup unless you somehow managed to move the in- house wiring to the new room?. I am talking about the wire that comes in from outside that connects to router in the original location. Your router is connected to the internet through it. It iwould not be uncommon for the wiring to have been connected only to the original room. A DSL modem is an exception and a cable MODEM also but they must be pre-wired. What service are you using? |
