Okay.
Post it at a time where there is a lot of traffic on the website. Like say 3pm where most people are coming home from school or such. A lot of times, the first thing people do when they get home is get their email, and other social media things. Make sure your summary is good. You can google how to write an interesting summary. The summary is what really draws people in so make it stand out. And no "Summary sucks but story is good I promise" or anything along those lines. It's off putting. Keep writing. Post a chapter the following week so your story frequently appears on the top of the list. This will allow it to be seen by more people Don't beg for reviews but if you want, you can add an authors note at the end of the chapter saying "Thanks for reading! Feedback is welcome" This encourages reviews without being pushy and if others see that your story is receiving good reviews, it'll entice them to check it out. Read and review other author's stories. Sometimes they'll return the favor Just don't give up or be discouraged! Good luck |
