it sounds like she is definitely not interested in getting to know you further. Some people are friendly to your face because they don't want to be impolite. I think you are over thinking this. She probably texted you after the whole school incident because she felt guilty about causing you to feel rejected and didn't want to be responsible for making you feel that way. And sometimes people just like some pictures and don't like others. I dated a guy once that liked a picture of me once and then didn't like a better one of me later. It didn't mean he didn't like me or the picture- just that he wasn't spending all his time going through instagram. She obviously isn't spending her time stalking you on instagram. In my personal opinion, you are waiting for her to like you, but she obviously doesn't. Move on. Be happy with the attention your boyfriend gives you and don't stress over the lack of attention from her. If she wanted to get to know you, she would make the effort.
