Why do you wish to set up a website?
Are you looking for opportunity to make money online? What drives you?

There are websites and blogs about virtually anything these days.

It is important you set realistic goals about your future site,

Regardless, I would highly recommend you concentrate on stuff you're familiar with and feel comfortable and knowledgeable to write about regularly.
