You DO need to distance yourself from him emotionally hon.As far as shacking up, no to that and here is why, if he does not know you well enough or love you enough after 2 years to tell you he loves you, propose to you and set a date, then he is never going to.So many girls are SO desperate for a guy to love them they will throw caution to the wind, and let him "try her out" and there is where she remains, on trial basis even after having 3-5 kids for him, helping pay the bills, cooking cleaning etc. and then she is still in the same boat you are in now.Drop a few hints that you want to be married.If he balks at it then it is a sign you need to move on, and as far as living without him, you lived all the yrs before you knew him just fine hon, you can make it the rest of your life without him if you need to.There ARE other men out there.Last, unless they are flirting and crap, then stop worrying, but you are right, the relationship could end because there is no commitment on his part to you, so I would not be having sex either.
