Try clearing your cache and cookies first by opening your browser and press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.

If that didn't fix it, try resetting Google Chrome. Exit Google Chrome and open Windows Explorer.

For Windows XP, in the Address box, type the following and press enter:
%USERPROFILE% \ Local Settings \ Application Data \ Google \ Chrome \ Application

Remove the SPACEs before and after the "\". I put them there because Y!A cuts off long words here.

Or go to C: > Documents and Settings > YourUserName > Local Settings > Application Data > Google > Chrome > Application

Delete the zero byte file named "First Run".

For Windows Vista or 7, in the Address box, type the following and press enter:
%LOCALAPPDATA% \ Google \ Chrome \ Application

Remove the SPACEs before and after the "\". I put them there because Y!A cuts off long words here.

Or go to C: > Users > YourUserName > AppData > Local > Google > Chrome > Application

Delete the zero byte file named "First Run".
