I'm having serious problems. Please help? :( sincere answers please?

So 9 days ago, my gf that is now my ex gf, decided she was going to go behind my back and start talking to other guys and stuff. Obviously this is not okay so I called it off. This was was 2 days before our 17 month anniversary... </3 the worst part about this is that she lied to my face about it when I asked her. She continued to talk to guys on fb and ends up giving her # away and yeah. Do with that as you please.
I was trying to work it out and stuff until today when I was with one of my guy friends and I decided I wasn't going to stay around and play her games anymore. She ended up deleting my off fb for, well basically because I was done playing her games. I mean it was so bad that most of her closest friends were even telling me to just walk away and move on to something better. They couldn't even tell what happened to her. Am I wrong for wanting to walk away? She says she wants to try to fix it now that I decided I didn't want to wait anymore, what does that mean?

And to top it all off, I saw my old best friend (she's a girl) today. Her and I haven't talked in over a year because my now ex gf and her didn't get along. I've always had a secret crush on her and today she seemed to be flirting with me: touching my arm, she put her leg on me when I was taking her home (her tire was flat and didn't have a spare), she was telling me I should kiss her (which I didnt), ect. I was thinking of asking her on a date this weekend to see where things go. Good or bad idea?
