Really odd computer problems! Help!?

First off don't get rid of windows 8, it is a wonderful OS and actually has the best ram functioning of any OS made so far.

Uninstall the following programs..
ITunes
Bonjour
Apple mobile device support
Anything that is Apple related, iTunes includes several programs that won't Uninstall with iTunes.

Make sure you only have ONE anti virus software installed on your machine otherwise they will work against each other. You will also want to stay away from Norton or McAfee. They are resource hogs and aren't very affective these days.

Lastly try this. ...
Hit your windows button to see the tiles view don't click anything yet, type msconfig .exe and hit enter. When the utility opens you will see some check able boxes. Click the one that says "selective startup" and below that uncheck the box labeled "load startup items" then click ok and restart your computer. You should seea dramatic improvement and will begin to love your computer again.
