What should I be looking for when hiring an SEO content writer?

A good content writer will have 3 important traits

1- Writes in English and can be read and comprehended
2- Writes quickly, being able to produce a 450 word article in an hour at very most
3- Can write around any keyword given

If you can get those 3 things you will be doing pretty good
