Why are people so mean?

Its just a bunch of idiots hiding behind their keyboards cyber bullying. An incident occurred on twitter just a few days ago where some female comedian made an insult about Demi Lovato and people immediately started calling her names and making death threats that Demi had to apologize on their behalf. I dont understand why people would hate on Ariana Grande, shes perfect! Haha shes a great actress and artist, a while ago people began insulting her on her hairstyle and how its always the same and she posted her reply to it and she made it clear she didnt care about their opinions, it shouldnt bother you at all, she has a ton more supporters than haters.

I also thought her acceptance speech was great!
