Hello,

You can connect your Yahoo Messenger account to your Facebook account so that you can chat with Facebook contacts through Messenger. When chatting those contacts will see your messages as coming through Facebook rather than through Yahoo Messenger. Please note that the conversations that you have with Facebook contacts through Messenger won't appear in your Messenger conversations history archive.
