Most writing originally produced in foreign languages do contain translation errors, yes. That is why it is important to not rely too heavily on one's own personal interpretation of scripture, but instead to follow the Church which pronounces dogmas and doctrines to guide us. Jesus gave us His Bride and our Mother the Church, but didn't specifically mention the Bible.
