ps3 problems, how can I fix it?

Heres a step by step how to fix it.

1. exit the game, and scroll on the XMB Menu to where it says "Game Data Utility:
2. under the "Game Data Utility" folder, find Uncharted 2's game data, highlight it, press triangle, and select delete. (will not delete saved data)
3. when this is complete, turn off the system. Then reboot in safe mode

Accessing Safe Mode:

1. Press and hold the power button. The system will beep once, and the light should turn on. Continue holding.
2. Keep holding, you should hear 2 quick beeps, this is the video reset indicator. KEEP HOLDING. after about 5 seconds the system will shut off, let go of the power button.
3. Once in standby again, press and hold the power button. The green light will turn on again. Keep Holding.
4. you will hear 2 beeps indicating a video reset, KEEP HOLDING.
5. After a few more seconds of holding, you will hear a 3 quick beeps in succession, your screen will go black, and a message telling you to plug in your controller will appear, you are now in safe mode.

4. From safe mode, plug in your controller, and 6 menu options will appear. You want to select "Restore File System". you will see a message telling you your data is corrupted and will be repaired.. (again, saved data will not be affected)

5.; The system will start the operation, then restart itself to the normal XMB menu. From here you will have to relaunch the game, and redownload any updates, patches or dlc you may have had. The game should work now.

NOTE. a poor internet connection, or otherwise any kind of interruption during the download of an update, or dlc (even if its just an IP refresh for half a second) will cause the data to become recorrupted, making it seem like this fix didnt work. If this happens you will have to repeat the above steps. I recommend using a wired connection for all downloads to prevent this

(nothings worse then waiting 6 hours for GTA V or something to download, just to have the data be corrupt, and have to wait another 6 hours to re-download)
