what do i need to install to let me upload pics on facebook?

It's called an ActiveX control. When installed, it allows you to access the files on your computer right on the website. It gives you a "Windows Explorer" look, so you don't need to manually select all the photos you want to upload.

Also, it allows for other cool features, such as rotating the pic before uploading.

ActiveX controls take some time to install. If you don't see anything immediately, just wait a few minutes...

If you still can't get it right, you'll need to fall back on the simple uploader.
