I upgraded my CPU to core 2 quad Q9550 and it works slower than expected, please help?

Depends on how much Ram you Devote to it , depending on what OS your on, Go look up on google look up Devoting CPU RAM on (OS your on). clean your Fan on your computer (it can help make the noise stop and speed up your pc)
