Ok, don't send all that to her on FB. I know it's why you feel and it's really nice and all, but you really wanna do it in real life.
Also, don't put yourself down - at all. Don't mention that you usually always mess up when you talk to girls, it's unnecessary. She may think you're a defeatist.
Instead of doing it all out the blue, talk to her in class first. Don't think too much about it, just make casual convo and if you think you guys get along alright an she seems to like you as a friend at least, as you walk out of class and no one else is with her, just pull her aside as ask her if she's like do go grab a coffee sometime.
Be casual, good luck mate. Also, if you think she doesn't like you even as a friend, don't do it. But I'm sure she will, just talk to her first.
