Windows is low on memory?

Try this:
1) Click Start--> Run --> Type msconfig
2) Under the Startup tab uncheck all non Microsoft programs.
3) Reboot your system and see if you get the same problem.

Clear your temporary Windows files too if you want to.

As an absolute last resort format your hard drive and reinstall your operating system
