it is very important to have your hosting in geographic proximity to your business location and customers. this is done for several reasons, load times of the pages influences rank, and reduces visitor wait times and increases retention...yaho, may have servers in Japan, check with them to relocate to those servers if possible

also you should have some geo words in the titles, this helps as well

seo is not a science, but an art and is dynamic because of the ever changing landscape

if i were in your position, i would not be concerned with SERP from Goog, but I would be concerned with SERP from Baidu!
