My pitbull in the uk what can I bypass it as!?!?

My brother who is a dog handler seized a Pit bull with colleagues last week .This dog is illegal in the UK but ,the dog has a court hearing this week .Because the dog has an owner even though its an Illegal breed it can be licensed and muzzled if the judge agrees .

You would have to speak to a solicitor about this that deals with things like this ,but there are many dogs that look like Pit bulls and are in fact mixed breeds of other dogs the Staffy being one .

Don't ever rely on a vet to give a determination of what breed a dog is when i got my first shelter dog a vet i no longer use thought he was a mix of 3 breeds even though he is a Shih tzu we argued and had my dog been a banned breed it would of been put to sleep .
