How Can I Recover My Account Without Alternative Email?

I haver another email seperate to this and unfortunatly i cannot access it.

Here is the story:
My phone has recently reset itself and on my phone i have twitter, unfortunatly the twitter account i had on my phone was only accesible by my phone. so i went on to the twitter website and found out i needed to reset my password so they sent me a link to my email (which is the one i'm trying to gain access to once again). I try to log into the account on yahoo and i remembered that i have used all my turns at guessing my password so i need to recieve an email to an alternative email address, however the email address that my yahoo email address is connected to is an email i no longer have access to, i mean really because i closed it down. (ps: i dont know my security question answer).
so do i need to phone yahoo customer service to try to gain back my access to my email.
