There is a lot you can do for better SEO of your site. I believe that .edu and .org back links are better for your site. Think of it this way, as Google, would you rather see your sites back link on perezhilton.com or harvard.edu? I think the latter has more credibility. The anchor text can have a lot of impact on search engines also, even if the link is "nofollow". Make sure you put your keywords in your anchor text. Try to write a lot of articles about your website (that have your keywords in the article) and submit them to articlesdashboard.com or ezinearticles.com (the only downfall about this is that it takes a while to get approved and accepted as an author). Article writing is great for your website, as the better the pagerank the website has containing your back link, the better SEO. Another tactic is creating linkwheels on web 2.0 properties. You can also add video to your homepage (I heard that may increase SEO). I've also learned that creating different and unique links that no one else has will help increase your SEO (i.e.- .kml). I believe that if you make your site Google friendly and have quality back links, you will do fine.

P.S.- I'm not an expert on meta tags, but the meta keywords in your website are the longest I have ever seen. I've been taught not to repeat a keyword/word more than 3-4 times. Just an opinion as I don't know how you are ranking. Best of luck pal.
