ok - firstly you should be seeing any differences between the serps regardless of what browser you use as you - the only reason I can see why this is happning is because the search engines are very clever and try to show results as a personal touch to the user - so if you have been clicking on your own listings in google then they will remember this and show your website higher as they believe this site is more applicable to the your sepcific needs - what I would advise is to clear your browsing history and flash cookies in all broswers individually - when you do another search you should see the same results.
Regarding the 301 redirect what you need to understand is that the website which it will be directing to will overtake the onsite optmisation factors so it will show the new websites title - description and take into account other factors - provided that they are the same or as good as one another you should loose any rankings - Again it is a hit and miss and you could loose rankings still hope this helps Ads |
