When does a celebrity obsession become unhealthy?

I don't think it's bad. It's normal for people to have enormous crushes on celebrities, no matter how old you are. I've been obsessed with celebrities to the point where it literally hurt but I eventually get over them, I'm almost sure that happens to most people. Your obsession will probably fade out and if it doesn't, who cares? As long as he makes you happy. You shouldn't feel bad about something that makes you feel good. So yes, your obsession is normal.
