Is asking someone to remove a photo of your dad's headstone from facebook rude?
I feel like posting a photo like that is just an attention seeking thing. If you truly wanted to honor someone's memory you would post pictures of the person, not the headstone.
My father died 9 years ago, and my cousin did this today, and everyone thinks i'm rude because I asked them to remove it. He has two daughters, that still feel grief. And I feel like my pain and his death isn't so you can get facebook likes. Just to add- She was close to him as well. But cousins who I know never met him are sharing it. And I understand the emotional support thing. But theres a difference between posting pictures with the person in it or saying I miss so and so, than posting a picture of his headstone. Thats the issue I have. Its for attention as far as im concerned because she did it that way. Ads |
