Should I go out with her.?

Hi,
I'm a 20 year old university student who works with all females about my age. Either UNI themselves or in twelfth grade. Since I've been there many girls have told me that others like me or think im cool/funny/cute and all of that. I have never acted on it before simply because I think it could ruin what i have going at this prime job. I'd rather just be funny and flirt with these girls than actually have relations with them...you know? Anyways, this new girl just added me on Facebook and asked me to go out with her sometime. I said sure, and told her i would like to take her to the beach near my house for a coffee. I did agree just because i didn't want to be a douche and say no. Plus she is very hot. The catch however is that I literally have never spoken to her in person before and know absolutely nothing about her. I just have a bad feeling that it will be incredibly awkward. lol... I'm really just looking for tips for how to handle a blind date correctly. Please don't say be yourself, because i know that, and that's how i have so many girls with crushes on me...
*Also, I have never been with a coworker, can anyone tell me if this is as much of a rush as I think it would be? I mean it could be really hot, right?
