You don't have to be. It is true that some people are predisposed to weight gain. This can be for many reasons like diabetes, slow metabolism and genetics. There are things you can do to combat weight gain and to actually reverse it.
One thing to try is eating often. Try to eat a snack every 3 hours. This keeps your metabolism constantly running and will help you loose weight. It is also important that you stay away from processed foods and trans fats. I know it sucks, but getting your heart rate up everyday is very important. I would recommend taking a walk everyday or going up and down stairs every day. If you work on the 5th floor, then get off on the 4th and take the stairs up the last level. If you do this everyday you will start to see a difference. Taking walks is good also. If you don't have a dog, and have a lifestyle that will allow you to have one, you should get one. Taking it on 2 walks a day is a great way to get exercise while having fun. EDIT : and also if that is really you in your profile pic, you are skinny. If you think you are fat, or have illusions that you feel fat, or are gaining weight you could have a disorder. I would tell a school administrator or seek help from a therapist. |
