What is wrong with my internet connection/router?

It may be a bad router, or not a very good one.

When it connects more things, it might be pushing it to it's bandwidth limit and drops connections. If so there isn't much you can do about it. Also check the router settings to see if it is limiting the number of wireless connections. If it's set to less than what you are trying to use, it will drop old ones when new ones connect.
