Internet on Windows 7 PC runs perfect, but does not on Windows 8? HELP?
I have an old windows 7 laptop and everything (internet wise) runs perfectly.
YouTube loads in HD fast, as does sites with lots of gifs and images.

However, using the SAME wifi connection, my brand new HP pavillion G6 on Windows 8 has awful internet loading times. literally 10 minutes to load a video on YouTube whereas it would load in a few seconds on my windows 7 pc.

What can cause this? please im really at loss here. It makes no sense. Please dont just say 'beacuse it is windows 8. I am well aware its a bad operating system.
