When it comes to ex boyfriends...
1.You musnt repeat the same mistakes you made in the first relationship.
2. You musn't have sex with them.
3. You musn't try to start from the old relationship, that relationship is "dead" you must start a better and new relationship.
4. You musn't bring up the negatives memory of your old relationship. For instance this is by begging and pleading [trying to convince him that you will change] thats being desperate and needy. No man wants a bitch who will be the easiest human being to walk all over

This is what I can tell you to do... Move on, to get the guy you have to be willing to lose the guy.

You have to be active, focus on you working on bettering yourself
