How do you secure an internet connection?
Ok, I have two computers. One is a 20 in iMac desktop which is physically connected to my router. The 2nd one is a wireless HP Pavillion DV-5000 laptop which is currently connected wirelessly to the laptop. The only problem is my network reads "unsecured".

I have a D-Link Rangebooster N' Router #DIR-625. Could somebody tell me, from kindergarden standpoint, how to secure my internet connection without me accidentally messing anything up? Would appreciate it, thanks.
