Why the heck are you embarrassed? Why the heck do you even think "emotional torture"? For "emotional torture" - one needs an emotional base to start with. Chatting on Facebook does not make an emotional base - except for silly girls.

I doubt this guy chatted with you for awhile - then thought "I'll just go offline to drive her nuts".

So he went offline. There could be 57 reasons - none of which has to do with you personally.
